Due to considerable in-house expertise in manganese chemistry, Erachem Comilog has been able to develop all kinds of manganese oxides to support various speciality chemistries (primary and rechargeable) and segments of the battery market:
- BioG and NMD for ZnC batteries
- High grade MnO2 for lithium primary batteries

Manganese dioxide is the critical component of the battery cathode mix in today's alkaline dry cells. Improved cell performance is achieved while using Erachem Comilog’s high-performance electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD), featuring excellent particle size distribution, electrochemical properties, and low metallic impurities, especially heavy metals. High rate discharge applications have taken alkaline battery designs to a new level. Our EMD is well suited for use in these batteries in order to meet the more demanding performance requirements. |
